Virtual Reality

As part of the RHU FAME project, we are developing virtual reality programs designed for the families of patients hospitalized in intensive care.

These programs offer three types of content:

1. Understanding intensive care (diseases, terminology, equipment, medical teams, etc.);
2. Becoming an active participant in intensive care;
3. Relaxation program.

These programs will be offered to the 65 intensive care units participating in the RHU FAME project, and their impact on the families’ experience will be assessed in a randomized trial starting in January 2025.
